I'm glad you decided to appeal! We always watch our suspects and collect evidence before banning to avoid losing good players. In this case, I watched you follow someone behind buildings and directly fire at someone through the fog with no in-game hints at their location. With this I compiled 3 clips for everyone's viewing pleasure (enjoy): In this clip, I watched you go from inside to directly noticing a player through the building and pre-aiming him before tapping him down inside of fog. Notice how after a certain distance, the player stops being visible to you. Very high level gameplay. In this next clip, you have no idea what could be around you, so naturally, you tell the person flying the heli to wait, instantly crouch walk while aiming at the same player you killed, and tapping him as soon as he comes out from the building he was protected with. I know my senses are just as acute. Nothing abnormal . Bonus points for the little lock on for that first shot! This is actually my favorite one of all 3. You prefired him and he never even peeked the corner. Just gamer senses I guess? All in all I had a fun time watching you, and the cherry on top is you even lied in your appeal. You've been banned a couple of times for aimbot on other gmod servers and I don't know about the rest of the community that plans on voting, but I don't think someone willing to lie about other bans and a blatant cheater deserves a second chance on csi.

I'm going to go ahead and unban you, but keep in mind that you will not receive another chance if you cheat again. I'll also post the evidence here: Prefiring through objects and pre-aiming through walls to set up shots.

You need to come to the admins for other cheaters. You do not take things into your own hands. I caught you using aimbot and scripts because you used them on me as well. Don't dig yourself a deeper hole.

There's a bit of a language barrier, and you have worked with me to apply properly for it and I understand that hopefully it is clear to you that cheating on our servers will result in immediate effects. I'll still post the evidence once I return to my computer, but you have my +1.

My issue is that I saw you also using aimbot but failed to record it in time. At least be fully honest in your appeal please. I'll +1 you for admitting to cheating supposing you never do it again.

I dont have much experience with you in-game, but what Harry posted is slightly concerning. How recent was that event?

You seem invested, helpful, and supportive. All good things to look for in a member! Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet since I'm not normally on the DarkRP side of things, but if you're ever in the discord channels I'll keep an eye out for you.

I'm still a firm believer that if something gets added that gives a player an advantage, it will ultimately only help veteran players in the long run. It's already incredibly difficult for someone to pick up csi dayz against the wall of experienced names as it is with everyone having the same stats. It might not seem like a bad idea, but what I can see happening is someone new finding a vest/armor and still getting destroyed by a csi member with hours and hours in the server who then takes it and uses it themselves. Phoon also brings up a good point when he mentioned that there are no current pvp advantages because the server relies on high-consequence gameplay as its bread and butter. The same can be said about the backpacks/pouches. Most vets already have 200 carry weight while players without the strongback perk have 160 (which used to be only 100), and for the most part the good players are limited by it which prevents them from carrying absurd arsenals. Proper inventory management can usually clean up enough room for an extra gun or so you would like to sell/bank/trade while sustaining enough ammo to get you out. speed does play a big role, but in the case of juggernauts the speed decrease is because they have upwards of 5000hp or more and they arent allowed to heal at all so people can actually kill them. It's already difficult to kill some people that like to hide in groups and poke people down while healing every time they take a shot, and being a tad slower wont prevent them from jiggling back behind a wall or window while someone else takes the aggro for a second. It isn't practical for new players because it'll just punish their untuned habits more (running without cover, overpeeking, poor positioning overall). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's a bit of a down-trodden view of the idea, but for the most part the only way you could implement something of this sort is if these items were new player exclusives. CSi has tried to help level the playing fields by leaps and bounds over the years by nerfing perks indirectly and increasing the starting kit of freshspawns to be closer to what perkholders got for grinding or donating, but I'm not sure how much further things could be taken before it affects gameplay too significantly. This isn't a bad idea, it can be difficult to recognise individuals unless youve played with/against them long enough to recognise them off their movements/habits in-game.

I think either side could have been mature enough to settle things before taking out a ban request either by leaving it/muting the other and moving past it. Was it necessary to hunt him down after the insult in chat? Debatable. I do think there is an important lesson to be learned from an experience like this though, and a warning for the harassment is a solid idea. The important takeaway is that nothing in-game is ever definitively yours to keep, and anything lost and returned is a nice gesture even if it isn't 100% of what was lost. If his behavior continues like this I would agree to a temporary ban of sorts, but I understand that young kids can be brash in these situations.

First of all, we don't just rush bans. I make sure to find enough evidence to be able to back up my decisions, which I have done. I've watched you particularly for a while and noticed that you and your friend more or less ignore sounds or just don't hear them, because I agree that peatreat was stomping and it's possible that you heard him. I'm more concerned with this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mg0SmboZp4s Here we can see Landeel stab a zombie, take a pot shot at someone off in the fog, and then begin to fight someone on the nearby statue. I'm really only looking at the statue fight because the pot shot onto russki A)missed and B)can be done by anyone as he was fairly visible. Watching the mp5 fight you had on statue we saw multiple instances of unnatural tracking and locking behind the player. These are consistent with aimbots, which is most apparent at 0:35 in the video. Your movement and situational awareness isn't one of high skill and you were constantly looking around at walls and spaces that no normal player looks at, but you were at least clever enough not to look directly at anyone in particular. You were very good about keeping your crosshairs on the corners of where they were coming from, but any time there was no one around you didn't do that at all. I also had a second admin watching with me, and we both watched it happen multiple times with pistols, the mp5, and possibly against peat with the an-94. I'll let the other admins take a look and see what they think.

You've improved yourself immensely since your last application a few months ago, and I've actually been able to play with you for a little bit. You're overall more friendly, helpful, empathetic, and calm. I think you'll fit in nicely with the tag.

I've actually had multiple people see you on the server and pm me telling me to watch out because they know you from other places. Your influence is bigger than you give credit to.

I know that it's a difficult past to live down, but it also stems from your background in coding cheats that youve personally used in other games/gamemodes and publicly release (albeit with csi in mind). I don't personally have a grudge with you, but I've always opposed you because that's what I believed was fair. I have to give you credit for coming back from previous bans on here and persisting and making a better name for yourself because it's hard to do that and not many people would. You're smart, chill, and helpful. You have more than enough to be a community member, but people know you for less than positive reasons that put you at a serious disadvantage. You have to think about what kind of effects it would have on the csi community and what kind of reputation of csi that would leave in the minds of players who know who you are and what kind of history you have. That's what I'm thinking of, and I'm sure that's what a few of the other players voting are debating at the moment when they're deciding which way to lean. I think you'll have to keep fighting to get it, and I do think you'll eventually get it when more time passes, but this kind of response to people is only going to set you further back. I have no vote either way, but I do wish you all the best. Try and be more professional.

For the same reason I voted neutral for Med, -1'd Ramelion, and voted to get Dank Scorpion's membership revoked, I have to agree with Dan. There's a time and place for certain behavior, and if you want to represent csi as a whole you have to understand where those are. You're a nice kid and you've grown up a good bit since I last saw you, but there's still room for you to grow ^^
