I personally never been fan of useless sounds in games. If I ever feel like the game is too quiet, I just open up spotify and put some bangers.

Also, its nice to see you on the forums, you should introduce yourself and let people get to know you. You can post a small biography in the introduction topic

I think most players would enjoy some soft ambient music, as long as it isn't louder than footsteps!

For players like ya, you could simply toggle off the music.

Definitely something I've always been a fan of implementing into this game some way or another. Beginner quests, goals and achievements are great ideas to motivate players to continue playing and get into the game, because in my opinion a big reason why our player return rate late isn't as high as it could be is the lack of engagement the server offers to the player unless they are dedicated. Those that aren't the best with their aim or communication skills would definitely enjoy something like this.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I always thought that a big zombie of sorts that gave out an alert on the map when spawned with extreme speed and strength would be interesting concept to go into, and something that would potentially band together players, like a world event in an RPG such as Black desert. However at the same time we do need to understand this server has always been a PvP heavy environment and that's what our players play the game for.

Increasing the quantity of zombies however is something i'm not particularly for. I say this because as an admin and having the ability to noclip around the map for whatever the reason may be, I get a Birdseye and firsthand view of all of the zombies that are on the map and I don't feel like the quantity we have currently is something that needs to be changed.

Perhaps shifting the amount of zombies into a more concentrated environment where players are more likely to be, rather than have them roaming around the outskirts of the map would be something that might help add a more PvE experience. However right now I think the PvE experience, especially for new players, is in a really good spot right now.

That tougher zombie sounds like a good idea! Even if we don't add more zombies, it'd still nice to have the chance to spawn tougher ones/different varients.

I also agree that shifting/creating more spawns to where players are more often would be a great idea as well.

  6. Currently the marketplace system needs a lot of work, it feels barren and empty.

I believe the main reason to blame for this is the chance that the seller actually puts up the items for sale, it just doesn't make sense that it's a randomized thing that when a player sells to the seller that actually goes in the marketplace.

it's not like there's hundreds of players that could account for this very low percentage, so the rate that the NPc seller puts up items that he buys and on the marketplace should be close to a hundred percent.

Players can have an easier time getting up and trading and enjoying the economy, if this change goes through.

  7. I believe this game mode needs more zombies so there could be a more equal mix of PVE and PVP.

Currently it is quite difficult to get XP because the zombies are very rare it seems at times.

While they did seem to deal with the issues of them being weak, still is not enough Variety in the zombies.

It would create for some very interesting events if there were different types of zombies and more of them to fight, players would have to work around the environment to either avoid or zombies in order to not draw attention to themselves and survive from the undead threat.

It would make the Wasteland feel way more alive if there were more zombies shambling around.

I'd like to hear footsteps over ambience, so unless the ability to toggle the music was available I can't imagine a lot of players would like it

The ambience could be very low, and hearing footsteps would not be a problem. I've seen it work on servers before, it's not an issue when it comes to footsteps.

But yes, that could be an option, along with an ambience  volume slider.

  9. I suggest we add ambient music to increase the atmosphere of the server and make it feel more lively.
This Fallout 1 and 2 ambient music soundtrack really adds a spooky Wasteland vibe to any post-apocalyptic game mode.
If we added this music, the Wasteland would feel much more scary and immersive.

Music could be played at a low volume in the background at all times while players are on the server.

  10. I believe the addition of a quest system would greatly benefit the server and get players hooked on the game mode.
This Interactive quest system would consist of fun fetch quests, exploration quests, and kill quotas .

For example a quest could be collect 20 lobsters, kill 10 players with a machete, steal a helicopter, visit the floating island, etc.. rewards for the quest could be XP or money or guns maybe even a special small perk that is unique to a hard mission.

The addition of this Quest system would break up the monotony of grind kill and shooting.

Starter quests could be very basic and essentially be tutorials to get new players into the game mode by getting them to explore the mechanics of the game.
